Employee Benefit & Business Services

Helping small businesses manage all employee benefits in one place

Who:  Small businesses with less than 500 employees are expected to offer competitive benefits, but often do not have the same resources as large corporations, which have personnel and teams dedicated to Human Resources and employee benefits. In fact, these small business owners are typically left to make these decisions.

What:  A review of your Retirement Plan, Group Life Insurance, Group Disability Insurance, and Group Health Insurance, and/or assistance with transitioning buyers/sellers of your business.

Why:  To help you (the employer) get back to doing what you do best; running your business.

We help companies run retirement plans, like 401(k)s, 403(b)s, that are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with ERISA and Department of Labor regulations.
Whether it’s group health, group life, or group disability insurance, we can help deliver quality insurance coverage for your employees.

We help small business owner buyers
and sellers coordinate these complex transactions by connecting the right parties and facilitating the process.

Step 1: SCHEDULE A CALL

A 15-minute phone call will give us both a chance to make sure your situation matches our expertise. After all, you wouldn’t see a Cardiologist if you needed foot surgery. If we aren’t the right firm to help you, we will happily point you to the right expert for your unique needs.

Step 2: OBJECTIVES MEETING

Before we begin collecting more data, we need to know what is most important to you. Which benefits do you want to review? What are main objectives with the employee benefits you offer? We can help save you time and potentially money by evaluating both your retirement plan and your insurance all at one time.

Step 3: DATA REQUEST & ANALYSIS

To complete your free employee benefits assessment, we will request approximately 4-5 documents to help with our review, including recent statements, plan disclosures, and basic employee demographics. Our team will then begin our analysis, which typically takes 7-10 business days to complete.

Step 4: REVIEW ASSESSMENT

Once your assessment is complete, we will schedule a second meeting (in-person or via Zoom) to review our findings and recommendations. In this meeting, we’ll explain exactly what you can do to improve your benefits programs and how we can help. At the end of this meeting, you’ll have an opportunity to think about partnering with us on your employee benefits.

Step 5: START IMPROVING BENEFITS

We are honored for every opportunity we have to serve our clients. At this point, we will provide a timeline for our onboarding process, set the proper expectations, and answer any outstanding questions that you may have. We look forward to working with you!

CAN YOU MEET VIRTUALLY AND WORK WITH PEOPLE IN OTHER STATES?

Of course! While most of our clients are in the St. Louis Metro area, we work with employers all over the United States.

Our firm is equipped to meet with clients and potential clients through video conferencing software. Each virtual meeting is protected by a unique password and we adhere to strict guidelines necessary to protect your privacy.

HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT THAN OTHER ADVISORS?

There are three important things that separate us from other firms:

1. We are independent and do not have any proprietary products to recommend or sell, unlike many large insurance companies that do.

2. We specialize in working with small businesses, who are historically overcharged and underserved in the retirement and group insurance industries.

3. We have a team of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professionals who are able to help employers and their employees.

DO YOU SERVE COMPANIES WITH LESS THAN 10 EMPLOYEES?

Yes, we serve companies with less than 10 employees and companies with up to 500 employees. Our experience working with individuals in the area of personal wealth management has equipped us to advise these ultra small businesses, even those that are single-owner.

DO YOU HELP COMPANIES START 401(k) PLANS?

Yes, for companies looking to start a 401(k) plan from scratch or to transition a SIMPLE IRA to a 401(k), we can provide competitive, low-cost solutions to help.

WHY SHOULD I CONSIDER HIRING CARSONALLARIA WEALTH MANAGEMENT?

Great question! But first, let us explain why you shouldn’t hire us.

If you’re looking for someone to make all of your benefits worries disappear, that’s not us (or anyone for that matter). But, when issues arise, we can commit to working diligently with you and on your behalf to make your employee benefits program run as smoothly as possible.

Our main goal is that the outcome of our partnership would cause your employees to view you in even a higher regard due to their level of satisfaction with our services.
